What is Marple?

Marple is a mobile app which notifies you each time there’s new content available on Google for the search phrases you have chosen to follow.

Additionally, you can always check what others see about the chosen search phrases on google, select whether the shown results are correct, negative and positive, and report malicious results to Google for removal.

When and where can I download Marple?

We are currently in the final stages of app development with Marple. If you have pre-registered, you can expect to receive an email with download instructions quite soon.

Marple will be available for download in Google Play and Apple Store.

In order to use Marple, what information must I provide about myself?

Marple, like any mobile app, requires login information and some behind the scenes technical information to work as intended.

You can choose to sign up via email or one of your social media accounts. We do not require any extra access to your accounts! Email address is required for us to be able to communicate to your accordingly. Location (country) is required for the results to be presented the way they are listed in your country.

Marple is, in many cases, titled as helper for your personal name googling. However, using Marple does not require you to insert your name as a search phrase. Marple supports any search phrases you want to use.

Is Marple associated with Google?

No, we are not affiliated with Google in any way. Marple simply helps you to understand what others see when they search for you or your chosen search phrases on Google.

Why wouldn't I just google myself?

The idea behind Marple is that by setting it up to regularly search your name, you’ll get notified each time there’s something new others can see about you.

Additionally, you can mark results as being about you, whether they are positive or negative and report malicious ones to Google for removal.

This is a powerful way to see how the positions of the results about you change time to time and keep up with your reputation’s front page.

Isn't Marple just like Google Alerts?

You might think that, but no, Marple is not like Google Alerts.

Google Alerts wont, for example show you what others see when they Google your name.

Or tell you when there’s new content available about you on Google’s search results (for others to see).

In Marple, you can also mark results as being about you, whether they are positive or negative and report malicious ones to Google for removal.

This is a powerful way to see how the positions of the results about you change time to time and keep up with your reputation’s front page.
